My first post to here. I have this leica m2 which shutter release button doesen't release the shutter unles I insert a small pin to the cable release hole or use a cable releaser. Is this difficult to repair? The shutter works otherwhise q

 Leicas are hard to fix without the correct tools for dismantling. It might be best to have the camera overhauled by a Leica specialist.

 If the problem is only caused by wear there is an adjustment you can try.  If it has other causes, the previous poster is correct in directing you to a Leica tech.  These cameras are assembled VERY tightly!  Therefore special tools and skills are helpf
