Al, I can't help you with this, but you might want to specify which 300/4.5 you have, there was a major change in the design of the lens - the earlier ones are conventional focus and later ones are internal focus. I don't remember off the top of

Hi-thanks for the quick reponse!! Lens: the Minolta lens : MC Tele Rokkor-HF F4.5 ser#3501392-I think this lens is from the mid 1970's.
