Slightly more seriously, no I didn't - obviously eaten somewhere along the line. Nice to get my name on a thread here, though!

Hi!
B....y computors!!!!
The little gizmo in mention acts as a slave,(no, keep your fevered imagination in check!). No pesky cables of course,& range is only limited by that of the primary flashgun.

Got you - triggers when the on-camera flash goes *phut*, and adds it's own light into the equation. Simple now I can see how it's done. The ringflash is currently on hold while I track down the diffuser material, so I'll see what I can turn out flash-wise. Got a nice diffuser made from a milk bottle and a Christmas pudding box, though - works a treat! Did I hear you say Here's one I made earlier?

Cheers for that, and good luck getting the computer going properly!

Ah, I wondered what the funny smell of brandy was, and why my bokeh looked like holly leaves...

I've realised today that if I build the flash to fit my F3, the flash for that will bend over the viewfinder in such a way that I can actually hang the ringflash off the flashgun and not need a cable. The one thing I forgot was that the chap from AP would be using autofocus, so it doesn't matter to him that he can't adjust his focus. But I guess for portraiture, you can focus by back-a-bit-forward-a-bit once you've got a rough distance set. We shall see...

Hi!
Good luck! I'm sure there will be general interest in how things works out.
