hello all.
I have acquired this minolta-35 rangefinder type1d. It has the shutter curtains still but not functioning. I am interested in repairing it. I would appreciate schematics, manuals etc.

Very, very common problem with Minolta-35s and one of the reasons I never bought one. I read about a diagnosis of why it happens, and a fix some years back (it seemed not to be that simple a job, but easier than a Leica), but I can't remember where I saw it, or the website is gone. It shouldn't be any harder to do than a Fed or Zorki.
