Title: Canon f-1n winder problem

The winder on my f-1n travels twice as far as my other cameras to cock the shutter. It's a pain to move my thumb that far each shot. Is something wearing out or could this be normal for this particular camera. Is there an adjustment I can make?

Leverwind travels through 139 degs to cock the shutter on all F-1 models. The ready or stand off position is at 30 degs.
