Title: Canonet rangefinder help

You had been reported sometime the way which we can adjust the rangefinder in canonet ql 17 but i did not accomplish however to remove the shiny cover of the hot-shoe just as you mentioned.  could someone give me a help in this?
Any specific tools if neaded ,or some pics to guide me

Looked but couldn't find a photo of the hot shoe cover removed.  But all you do is lift the front edges with a thin blade or screwdriver.  Once the two edges on either side of the flash stop pin are up the cover slides off rearward.

I don't have a photo of the shoe cover removed, but this is where the adjustment screw is located underneath.

It was much more easier than i thought
