Title: Antique Kodak front release button repair

I recently bought a No. 4 Cartridge Kodak online, only to find out that the release button was broken.  I have been shoving a narrow screwdriver to release the latch to open the front.  Has anybody ever repaired one of these before, and how would you

Probably the best strategy is a similar camera as a parts donor.  Look for one with (say) blown out bellows.  It wouldn't need to be the unusual No. 4 size, a No. 2 or 2A would probably be a lot cheaper.
