 I have got this Minolta XG7, my father gave it to me, but he isn't with me anymore, so I have not a clue what batteries this camera can take, please help ASAP

 click on instruction manuals in left hand column, when that page comes up scroll to bottom and click on comprehensive manual listing and click on that.

 1.5 volt silver oxide Ever Ready S-76 or equivalent.Just in case you got lost on the Minolta site.

 does anyone know how to fix a light leak for minolta xg7?  the camera's not in the best condition and the foam came off from the door... any suggestion besides handing the camera and $100+ to someone to fix it?...
