I did a search for how to repair Leather Camera cases first.
    I need some advise on leather cases.
  The back strap of the top part is wearing thin at the area it bent for top removal for years .  My Father gave me his Zeiss Ikon Contessa 35.   H

I now have the answer & a great repair job.  I started by calling a leather shop, he sent me to Leather Smith.  His forte was repairing leather straps etc.
